Welcome to Laser Llama Boutique, where creativity and yarn collide in the heart of Idaho! I'm Mattie Wadsworth, the chief llama wrangler behind this cozy corner of crafting haven.

Idaho is not just a state to me; it's a source of inspiration and home to some of my fondest memories. From the majestic mountains to the lush forests, Idaho's beauty never fails to captivate me and provide endless inspiration.

As a proud Idahoan, I've lived throughout the state, soaking in it's diverse landscapes and unique communities.  It's this love for my home that fuels my passion for crafting, especially my Best-Selling Native Potatoes and matching Punny Potato Tags-little crochet wonders that capture the essence of Idaho in every stitch.

As a lover of all things crochet and knit, I have a soft spot for fuzzy chunky yarn and a knack for turning it into delightful projects. I'm also a self-proclaimed pizza aficionado, and a lack of will power when cookies are involved!  I have an amazing group of people at Boise Barbell who not only lift, but lift me up, my family away from home, and I'm the proud owner of two lovable Llamadoodles (labradoodles who never leave my side and always think I have the best ideas)!

With three amazing teenagers and a supportive husband by my side, I embarked on the journey of turning my passion for yarn into a thriving business in 2020. What started as a side hustle quickly blossomed into a full-time adventure, fueled by my desire to create adorable patches and tags for my handmade creations.

In my quest for innovation, I've welcomed a couple amazing lasers Lenny, until he retired, then Lola– into the fold. Together, we have form a dynamic duo, constantly pushing the boundaries of crafting with yarn to make it easier and more functional. And during the busiest seasons, I'm grateful for the helping hands of my family, who ensure that every order is as fabulous as the next.
